Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wax effective for sensitive skin?

Our wax is suitable for all skin types. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend testing the wax on your hand first, before applying to other parts of the body.

How long does the waxer take to heat up?

The wax warmer takes around 15 minutes to heat up.

Are there instructions or a User Manual?

Yes, each kit includes a user manual in 6 different languages.

Does the NEOMANN waxer have an automatic heating sensor?

Yes, when the waxer reaches the set temperature, it will automatically power off.

When the temperature gets lower than the set temperature, it will automatically start heating again.

Why didn't the wax remove all my hair?

To ensure successful hair removal during waxing, make sure your hair is at least 1/4 inch (6.35mm) long and that the wax is heated to a honey-like consistency.

Apply intense pressure, a thin layer of wax (2 mm), and apply and remove the wax in the direction of hair growth. Lastly, ensure that your skin is dry before applying the wax to ensure proper adhesion.

Is waxing painful?

Pain tolerance varies from person to person. Hard Wax has often been described as ‘painless waxing’ as the pain from waxing is super quick and far from extreme.

We suggest using soothing oil after waxing the area to soothe any pain. Once you begin waxing more often, the pain becomes less.

Why does my skin turn red or trigger a rash after waxing?

It’s normal to experience redness or rash. This is usually caused by irritation and will subside within a few hours or days.

To help calm your skin, you can use essential oils or serums to help soothe and treat the irritation.
